🟣Cosmoverse 2025
Cosmoverse adopted Thrilld as the official event networking platform in Split, Croatia.
Background
Cosmoverse is the largest community-run event for the Cosmos ecosystem, operating since 2021. The ecosystem was created by Cosmos’ community members and remains community-focused to this day. For example, throughout the year, there are numerous Cosmos events taking place around the world; 2025 alone has included Cosmos Istanbul in September and Cosmoverse x ETH Belgrade in June.
Then, this October 30th, Cosmoverse returned to Split, Croatia, bringing together the Cosmos community with builders, founders, investors, regulators, and institutions across Web3 and the globe. In this way, Cosmoverse surely emerged as an important frontline in Southeast Europe’s Web3 ecosystem.
Indeed, at its core, Cosmoverse’s mission is to connect the builders of the decentralised internet across sectors and chains. To this pursuit, the event emphasizes connections and, of course, community throughout the ecosystem. And that community (as well as the Cosmos Stack) is strong and globally distributed, indeed maintained by the Interchain Foundation and the Cosmos Labs team that were also key for the succcess of the event alongside the Cosmoverse organisers themselves.
The main topics in this 2025 edition covered sovereignty, modularity, and interoperability in digital finance through user-owned internet. Other sub-topics ranged from enterprise, stablecoins, tokenization, privacy, to gaming and NFTs. Each theme was organized into tracks that allowed attendees to design their own experience, in that they could learn about what they wanted.
As Thrilld was adopted as the networking app, our team went to Split to support the event.
The Challenge
With large industry events like Cosmoverse, there is always the challenge of networking. Who exactly to meet, and how do you know if they are the right person for your specific curiosity or question? Where to go to find those people? And how to go about it? Let’s say, even if you’re some sort of networking wizard, you’re not always going to be able to beat out time.
The event was expecting over 1,000 attendees, as well as a strong global presence. There were also going to be members from the Cosmos community, as well as those with no links. For those coming from outside the community, or from abroad, it may be slightly more difficult to know who to talk to. There would also likely be many more new people than those that are supposedly more local.
Given the large number of expected attendees, ‘newcomers’ could find more of the right connections, or the ones that match their interests and business priorities. Although not to undermine any epic quas-random encounters, we love those too! Yet when time (and money) are part of the equation, it might be better to come prepared. When a diverse audience – by country, sector, and community – are all coming together too, having a handy tool to network can also make all the difference.
This is where Thrilld comes in!
The Solution
On Thrilld, the event agenda and key information was clearly displayed allowing those on Thrilld to navigate the event all in one place.
Moreover, using Thrilld, attendees could connect even before the event began through the attendee list. This would also allow them to set up meetings at the event, and make the most of a tight schedule, enabling business in a smart way. But, the conversations don’t have to stop there either. Users can continue the conversations and look for connections even after they’ve left the event, got on the airplane, and gone home.
To support the onboarding process, we prepared partnership announcements across our social channels and shared the necessary information to our partners to make their announcements more seamless. Our team was also present on sight, banners standing tall, to promote the app, and answer questions.
The Result?
Thrilld’s adoption at Cosmoverse went well: to be pretty straightforward, we have observed a 6% increase in the number of subscribers to our newsletter, which directly mirrors a decent increase in the number of the Web3 people on the app.
The adoption of Thrilld as the networking platform at Cosmoverse was, much to the thanks of our wonderful partner, well promoted prior to the event. We saw a modest number in terms of onboarding challenges (a device specific bug and one relating to ad hoc created emails), which all got resolved as far as our team is aware.
At the event, Thrilld Labs was well visible. This was also the case, as our Founder, Alexandra Overgaag, was not only present on sight, but she was also the event MC, Master of Ceremonies and pitched the company (during a brief pause from the MCing) in a separate room filled with local and international investors.

The Future
In Fall 2026, Cosmoverse will happen again, this time in Hong Kong, where it will expand the dialogue and bring the Cosmos movement to one of the world's most dynamic financial hubs. We would be thrilld at the chance to once again work with the Cosmos team. Will this happen? Let's see what the organisers and attendees said...
“It was amazing to see you [Alex] always bringing your positive energy and enthusiasm throughout the event. You and Thrilld definitely played a vital role in making this conference unique.” — Zafercan Cakir, Organizer of Cosmoverse
“Thank you for hosting Cosmoverse 2025 with such professionalism and energy. It’s been a pleasure collaborating with you and seeing Thrilld play such a key role in connecting the community.” — Roberto Cassa, Marketing Director at Cosmoverse
Other attendees including Senior Software Engineer at Triangulum Technologies, Travis van der Font also commented on the success of the app. To conclude, Thrilld worked.
On a final thought, a lot of the "Cosmonauts" already knew each other, so we’d consider product improvements beyond the networking core…. For instance, this is where our ticketing dApp comes in, in addition to new event features and better app UX.
As we look forward to what’s sure to be a thrilling year of events and another edition of Cosmoverse, we plan to continue developing the app and growing our global presence.
