Community Guidelines
Welcome to Thrilld! Like the thrill of a great new opportunity? So do we. That’s why we created an ecosystem where the possibilities to talk with fellow builders, investors, and contributors, attend events, and talk business anyplace, anytime. Whether you are building a new Web3 project, looking to invest, search for your next dev gig, or offer Web3-oriented services, Thrilld is for you. It’s free and open-access. Thrilld is more than just an app, it’s a community. That's why we ask everyone to keep an eye on these Community Guidelines listed below.
What we ask from you
1. Choose wisely, connect wisely. You showcase who you are and who you want to meet. Define your profile – be you a project lead, a backend genius, jobseeker, or a venture capitalist – and select who gets to see your profile. Respect these choices and engage only where consent has been given. 2. Content that counts. Show what’s relevant –projects, events, communities you are a part of – but steer clear of anything that would be out of place in a professional meetup. That means no hate speech, no bigotry, and definitely no images that your mom wouldn’t approve of. 3. Be a pro. This isn’t just social media – it’s professional media. Keep all interactions professional, respectful, and on-topic. No spam, no unsolicited promos. No fakes. No facades. Just you, your professional best, and a community that values authenticity and transparency over all. 4. No funny business. Thrilld is about genuine business opportunities. Using Thrilld for anything shady – illegal activities, harassment, or exploitation – are out of the question. We’re all here to build up, not tear down. 5. Protect your info. Keep your personal and financial information to yourself, and think twice before sharing anything too personal. Remember, safeguarding your data is your responsibility too. 6. Stay alert. Look out for each other. Notice something off? Someone reaching out with an offer you can’t refuse? It seems too good to be true, maybe? Let us know. Our in-app flagging mechanism is confidential and has always a human in the loop. It is critical to maintaining a safe and trustworthy environment. Help us help you, and together, we’ll keep the community thriving. 7. DYOR. Thrilld is not intended as a financial, investment, or deals platform. We highly recommend that you view Thrilld as an initial step towards exploring business opportunities in this space. It is essential to do you own research at all times. For further information, please refer to our Due Diligence Guidelines and Documentation.
What happens if things turn south? Violating these guidelines isn’t just a breach of trust, it can lead to a range of actions. From a warning to, in severe cases, the slashing of bad actors, we’re serious about keeping Thrilld a place where professionals can thrive.
