This section explains how to stay safe while using Thrilld app
Thrilld is developed to be a safe space for Web3 professionals to scope out each other to talk business, funding, and partnerships. Instantly. With that being said, we strongly encourage you to understand the safest ways to use Thrilld, not only to protect yourself, but the Thrilld community as a whole.
If someone breaks the rules or guidelines specified here please flag them immediately. Examples of violations include requests for crypto or fiat, underage users, harassment, threats, fraudulent profiles, offensive, or spam messages. You can flag concerns about suspicious behavior directly from a user's profile page or messaging window (more below).

Messages & Synergies
Consensual synergies
On Thrilld, you can connect and "synergize" with other Web3 professionals - instantly. We encourage you to only synergize with users that you genuinely want to connect with.
All* synergies on Thrilld are consensual, meaning that you can only chat when you both swiped right to one another. This eliminates spam and saves you time.
While engaging with new connections can be thrilling, it's essential to prioritize your safety when interacting with unknown people on the Thrilld app. Please, exercise caution and take certain due diligence measures throughout all your conversations and meetings.
If someone sends you a message that is against our guidelines, please de-synergize them and/or flag them (before you de-synergize them).
* There is, however, one exception: you can send and receive direct messages from other Thrilld users if you are both on the same event attendee list. This thus only regards chats when you both attend the same event or conference that Thrilld Labs has partnered with.
De-synergizing
If a user does not break the rules or guidelines, but you do not wish to interact with them, you’re can always “de-synergize” them. This allows you to no longer see their profile and for them to no longer see yours. Interactions will no longer be possible.
How it works?
1. Go to your chat with the other person.
2. Click on their name (top of screen)
3. Click on 'De-Synergize [name]'.
4. The chat instantly disappears.
Flagging someone
Flagging another user for a rude behaviour, scamming, or for breaking Community Guidelines
How it works?
1. Go to your chat with the other person.
2. Click on the shield icon (top right of your screen)
3. Click on 'Report [name]'.
4. Select the general reason why you report them + click on 'Continue'
5. Add a comment about what happened.
6. Upload a screenshot showing what happened (we need this prove because chats on Thrilld are private). Click on 'Continue'.
7. File the report if you're sure you want to go ahead with it.
What happens then?
When you flag someone, we won’t share your information with the person you reported.
All reports are taken seriously and reviewed thoroughly by the Thrilld Team.
We seek to be fair, consistent, and quick in addressing all reported incidents. If a violation is directly impacting you, we may share information with you to keep you updated.
If someone flagged you
What happens if another user has flagged you for violating a rule or community guideline?
If a report has been filed against you, we will contact you through your Thrilld account and the email you used to sign up with information about the nature of the flagging if necessary. We may keep some of the information about the flagging against you private to protect the person who reported you.
We will inform you on our final decision and response to the flagging.
If you believe a report has been falsely filed against you, immediately contact the Thrilld team at support@thrilldlabs.io
Attempting to retaliate against someone who flagged you is strictly prohibited.
Jobs
Be safe when looking for jobs
Thrilld can be used to find a job or freelance work. For businesses, it's completely free to use and easy to find high quality candidates to join their team. In Thrilld, individuals can create a personalized profile directly connecting to a community of Web3 professionals and those interested in Web3.
When creating a profile, showcase you are looking for a job by adding the label 'Open to Work'. Users can also add a professional-looking profile picture and their ambitions and experiences on their profiles.
Please do not click any suspicious clicks and let us know immediately if you see a fraudulent job invitation on Thrilld. Do also remember to never accept terms or ongoing practices that exploit you, or your work.
Funding
Be safe when looking for investors
Thrilld can be used to find a potential investors, or for dealflow sharing. Thrilld is not meant as financial infrastructure, or as a platform to enable direct deals. When talking to potential investors on the Thrilld platform, always make sure to do your own research.
