Thrilld offers more and more customization features to ensure your profile accurately reflects who you are and helps you find the right connections. By clicking on the pencil icon (find it by clicking on the most right button of Thrilld's navigation bar) you can access dedicated tabs under profile configurations.
We strongly recommend configuring your at least your descriptions properly, as our data shows that profiles with missing descriptions receive 82% fewer synergies.
Here's more about the options you have to stand out:
To make sure your profile looks polished, you can check your own profile by clicking on the Preview Profile option. This allows you to see exactly how others will view your profile if they click on the 'i' icon.
Profile Descriptions (2)
Add a short description about you, your company or why you're on Thrilld (up to 180 characters). This description be visible on your profile as people swipe.
Additionally, you can add a longer description (up to 400 characters) that will be visible when someone clicks on the ‘i’ (more info) button while viewing your swiping profile (1).
We strongly recommend configuring your descriptions properly, as our data shows that profiles with inadequate or missing descriptions receive 82% fewer synergies.
About & Search Algorithm
Configure your identity (under Occupation and About) (are you a Web3 project, service provider, developer, or professional investor?) and preferences in terms of with whom you want to connect (under Show Me and Manage Wants).
The settings and options dynamically adjust depending on your needs and wants. Make sure to save any changes.
Important: for certain user groups, we distinguish between Individuals and Companies. For instance, it can be that you work for a big law firm (=company), or that you are a freelance lawyer (=individual).
Important: are you not sure about your category? Select Web3 service provider (as an Occupation), and select Other (under About). You can always change things later on. In this case, we also suggest that you select all other user categories under Show Me, so that your visibility is maximised.
Secondary Occupation
If you wear multiple hats in the industry, you might want to connect with a lot of different people. To do this, switch on the 'SecondaryOccupation' toggle and add a Secondary Occupation to your profile by clicking not one box under About, but two boxes. The matchmaking algorithm will take this into account, giving you the flexibility to be matched in multiple roles.
Important: your other hat will also be mentioned on your profile for others to see, if you have the toggle switched on.
Market Opportunities
Clearly show on you're profile why you're on Thrilld by selecting labels such as hiring, open for work, funding, partnerships, or other goals. This helps others know your intentions right away and improves the relevance of your synergies.
Events & Communities
Highlight the events and communities you're part of directly on your profile. This allows others to see your active participation and helps strengthen your networking connections within specific groups.
Add Highlights
Highlights are little icons you can select that showcase key aspects of your identity and achievements. Whether you want to let people know you’re raising, attending @Event X, or share a metric such as the number of followers you have, highlights make your unique selling points stand out. It's up to you how you configure them.
Profile Images
Your profile images are one of the first things people notice, so it's crucial to make them count. You can upload up to six images that represent you or your company, and these can be changed at any time. We recommend using professional images that align with your identity or goals — such as:
High-quality pics
Screenshots of your pitch deck
Graphics showcasing your tech stack
Anything else that effectively conveys what you or your company stands for
Please note, non-professional images go against our CommunityGuidelines. Profiles featuring inappropriate images may be subject to suspension to maintain the quality of our community.
Don't forget to click on Done (upper right corner in the Profile Settings) after you've changed something in your profile settings, otherwise it does not get saved.
